So the plan is to run 2 discos and the possessed + support at the enemy while enjoying the fire support of the knights. If everything goes right the possessed are 9" closer to the enemy and or enjoying a -3 to hit modifier. They are also quite nasty in combat. The Poxbringer gets summoned after the "Forward Operatives" stratagem gets used to then add his -1 to hit to the possessed; one of the discos gets slingshot. The Despoiler will probably get "Vow of the Beastslayer" used on him. Trying to use a mix of proven good and cool units here together and see it it works. C&C!

...that big sanction stamp of APPROVAL means it's OFFICIAL. No, I don't have to ask you for permission. D-cannons win games.

It feels like you're trying to fit too much into one list. There's loads of useful stuff in there but if your possessed get focused down early then you have loads of support characters with nothing to support.

I'd drop either the LDs or the knights (probably the LDs) and put something else in that can make use of DA, MOP and nurgle buffs. Oblits can be useful with nurgle aura or just more possessed.

You could then take a nurgle battalion of nurglings (ine unit of plaguebearers if you have points) and two poxbringers. You can take virulent blessing on the other to turn those possessed into super blenders!

Plus you're relying on less rolls for your buffs to go off and don't have to loose the nurgle aura when you summon!

You are right, I basically tried to cram 3 different lists of their own into one. I do like the idea of doubling down on one.

Thanks for pointing that out! A lot of rules out of different books to go through. Chaos almost feels like 7th at this point lol.

An alternative could be to take slanesh units. You would be swapping an extra -1 to hit and nurgle +1 damage aura for 5+ fnp and advance and charge.

Hysterical frenzy is really great maybe even better than virulent blessing. Then you could use the buffs for both the possessed and LDs.

I run a list with sylesske and epitome. They are both amazing!
