So how many coats of abbaddon black over chaos black do you do on a model as am paint Black Legion atm.

if you're talking about brush-applied Abbaddon over Chaos Black spray primer, it should only take 1 thin coat.

Ok thanks. Yeah it’s Chaos Black spray so I’ll try 1 coat of Abaddon Black.

One coat is enough, but for Black Legion I would recommend an 'outside in' paint method like Duncan uses in the following tutorial...
