So the whole idea is to shoot everything from far away. The Manticores and Deathstrikes will benefit from the Catachan regimental doctrine to maximize the number of attacks each rocket makes. Masters of Ordinance's will be there to give an increased chance to hit, with the Trojans supporting whichever launcher is being used to target important enemies. There is enough CP's in this formation to let me use the vortex missile strategem for each Deathstrike.

Secondary support includes the Hydra for anti-air support as well as the griffons which can take shots at anything hiding in cover.

You can't run a psyker primaris for less than 40 points -- most are 46 with the mandatory wargear, only the psyker named character madellan is cheaper (she is 40, but knows only the spell for _+1 to hit on warp charge 8, and smite. However, she might be great for this list!)

Crusaders are also miscosted, this time in your favor, they are 13 with wargear and the battlescribe software doesn't reflect the price reduction for some reason.

Crusaders are at the right points, they are 11 + 4 for the sword so 4 of then is 60 points

Crusaders are 9 each .. as of the publishing of chapter approved 2018, in the codex beta of the sisters of battle. Its the same unit, new cost! Cheaper! Honest injun, its the same unit the gaurd gets cause they keyword into both, 9+sword = 13. Altthugh if you take them as gaurd, 15. Or so I now am told. My friend (the guy who sometimes types my lists into battlescribe) just said "oh, yeah, didn't I mention that your prices were off? I totally tohught you were asking about the sisters price only."

(so I feel dumb now.)


And crap, that saddens me deeply (if briefly) about madellan. I really like the model I have for her, but its a proxy and I never bought the actual expansion she comes in. I still see her as a useful thing for the gaurd army, a potential 40 point source of a 4th attempt at smite, or a +1 to a larger infantry unit with plasma when you desperately need it not rolling any self kills.
