Orks are terrific, aren’t they? While the aesthetics and logic behind most 40k factions tries to toe the line between Full Blanche and minimally plausible weapons of war, the Space Orks just embrace the most absurd logic (a red paint job actually makes it go faster).

This conversion was created by my client- and I really love it. Orks looting vehicles from Imperial factions is always great, but there’s something especially amazing about looting the claw of a titan and turning it into a tank.

For the paint job, the titan claw is meant to look like the Orks painted over the original Titan’s color scheme. To this end, some of the scratches in the red show blue and imperial insignias and patterns underneath.

Okay so I’m pretty sure I saw this (or someone else did it too) unpainted and it’s bloody amazing. I love creative conversions and I hope someone at GW looks at that slaps their head for not thinking of it first. There’s power klaws and then there’s POWER KLAWS.

I did not do this conversion.

I first saw the WIP photos on Bartertown, and I think it was pretty glorious. Then the guy contacted me to paint it, and that made me very happy. I think that WIP thread ends with some of his own photos of the painted claw.

That was actually quite a while ago- it has taken me a long time to get these pictures up. It often takes me a long while to get picture posted.

You did.
It was my conversion.
I posted pics of it after we got it back.

My buddy had a vision and a fat wallet. He bought the kits and I made the vision happen.
Once I had it built, I gave him the names of a couple painters I knew, liked, and trusted. He decided on the Ninja here.

It looks very cool! Maybe try the same with rest of the body to create megawaaagh. Every part would be in diffrent color!

Now, THAT is a bit pricey! LOL

My buddy bought 2 claws. We used one for this vehicle and the power source from the 2nd on the other side of the vehicle (only 1 can be seen in the pic above).
The rest of the other claw was reserved to be used for terrain.
