If a unit with the 'Explodes!' ability dies while under the control of the opposing player through Treason of Tzeentch, which player is responsible for rolling D6 to trigger the effect?

I would say the player who is currently controlling it via Treason of Tzeentch is responsible for it.

The player whose psyker manifested treason of tzeentch.

Treason of Tzeentch
If manifested, select a enemy CHARACTER that is within 18" of the psyker and visible to it (excluding the opponent's Warlord) and roll 2D6. If the result is greater than the character’s Leadership characteristic, until the end of the following Fight phase treat that character as if it were a friendly model from your army in your Shooting, Charge and Fight phases.

Q: Which player rolls the D6 to see if a vehicle explodes, or if a
monster has death throes, etc. when it is destroyed?
A: The player whose model has been destroyed rolls
the D6.

Side note that's unlikely to come up: if it's destroyed in your Movement Phase, Psychic Phase, during your opponent's turn, or "between turns", the other player needs to roll. You only treat it as a friendly model during your own Shooting, Charge, and Fight phases.

Edit: reading the Power a bit more, I see that none of the above COULD happen, because all of those situations would occur after "the following Fight Phase". Ignore and carry on.
