Deathwing Assault allows a unit of terminators to shoot when deployed via DS.

My understanding of sequencing of rules means I can use this strategm and clear out some of a screen and bring in another unit in the gap created. Is this correct?

Yes. The shooting portion of the stratagem happens immediately after setting up the said termies and does not necessarilly depend on the sequencing rule.

I thought so, this is how I have been playing it. However I have a 2 day event in a few weeks so thought it best to double check.

Check with your TO too. Their thoughts matter more than ours.

Legit. You can also use it to shoot a unit that might otherwise intercept you, with an Auspex Scan style strat or similar, before they get to shoot because sequencing is in your favour.

That is awesome. Pop that with Space wolf terminators and then do the Lion and the Wolf. Just because it's awesome and I have NEVER seen it used.
