Getting my feet wet in
AoS with my first test Pig Ogor... uh, a "Hogre", if you will!
I figured Ogor's would be a good start to build up some sculpting skills because they're large models (both scale and shape wise). I've always liked the plastic models, but never really liked the heads. They're too large and make the proportions look infantile, which along with the oversized weapon, make them look kinda small. And for a bunch of husky boys, their faces and necks are conspicuously lacking fatty deposits and double chins!
So I settled on making some Pig men, as a bit of a homage to classic folklore orcs, and to really lean into the whole food-obsession theme of the faction.
Here's my first porky lad. I used orc hands for a bit more sensibly scaled weapons, and an orc head for the base of my sculpting conversion.
