Daemon Princes can take em!
would this make chaos marines and chosen overpowered if they were able to upgrade to these also? i feel like they are better suited as chaos marines should be running all over the board shooting like madmen assault weapons are better for this?
and as the weapon already exists in the codex gw would only have to add it to the datasheets?

yeah for 10pts per infantry model.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain. |

Wut?!? Warp Bolters are 3ppm on DPs, which have BS2+ and reroll 1s. There's no legit reason Warp Bolters should be more points on inferior platforms like CSM or Chosen, which at the end of the day at still 1W models. Each lost model is 1 less Warp Bolter And no, Warp bolters on more models would hardly be OP -

Considering due to Bolter discipline the regular Combibolter is better anyways, no, the Warpbolter on CSm etc is indeed not or would indeed not be an issue.

Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"

While I agree Warp Bolters would not be an issue, I think it's debatable whether they're worse than Combi-bolters.
Sure Combi-bolters get twice the shots most of the time, Warp bolters are Ap-1 D:2, so there are specific targets (like Primaris) that Warp Bolters are way better against then Combi-bolters.
But for me, that's why the 3ppm is perfect as it's only 1pt more than a Combi-bolters

Granted now that everyone and their mother seems to bring primaris on second thought i would be agreeing with you on that one.
Still, against GEQ and anything with 1 W i'd still prefer the combibolter simply for the fact of Votwl and Cacophony gaining more effectiveness and therefore gaining more value out of stratageems.

I mean, if intercessors(IF) can have 30" S4 -3ap 3D guns(vs vehicles). I don't see the problem with giving chaos a little push.

Woudn't have to cost more either given that the units already cost too much. Unless they get rapid fire warp bolters ( as in 1 shot as they are now, but buffed ap/damage), and even then they'd have reduced range and mobility compared to primaris, although bikes and termies would be pretty nasty with combi warp bolters. Either way, I'm in the the camp of the CSM codex in general being lacking. We need a lot more dark mechanics involvement in general, like the special heavy bolter rounds for the forgeworld units in 7th, Ecto plasma etc. There are entire dark mechanicus forgeworlds and all we get out that is the odd daemon machine?

under 20 point models shouldn't have basic weapons that kill termintors for free.

Agreed. Warp Bolters are 3ppm, NOT FREE. and it's laughable to think a 2-shot, AP-1 weapon can kill Terminators reliably. It should take AT LEAST 2 models to do this (maybe even 3) on average, which if appropriate for Terminators. -

It really isn't as reliable as you're making it to be, and it's important to note that Terminator is supposed to be durable, not THE MOST DURABLE THING EVER!!!!!1!
That's where Centurions fall, and it's good there's that distinction instead of this nonsense that Terminators should be at that level. They're supposed to the offensive Elite. That's why they wear the suits.

Karol, you’ve also said Plague Marines need to be 30PPM at one wound, since they’re “more durable” than Terminators.
