Those of us who bought it know it's a LOT of plastic. But I do have a few questions.

1. Is there any difference in the content of the soft cover rulebook that comes in Dark Uprising vs. the hardcover rulebook that's been out for a bit?
2. Are there any absolute "Do" and "Don't" things to be aware of when assembling the terrain? I.e., if you assemble two or three specific pieces you're screwed OR you have to assemble something in a certain way or you'll be very sad later on.
3. The plastic tiles don't fit inside the Dark Uprising box. Are there any good solutions for transporting four boxes worth around so they don't scrap against each other, thus damaging the paint?
4. Was there a Necromunda card in the White Dwarf that went on sale last week?
5. How many of the Barricades and Objectives sprues are needed for a 4' x 4' table?

Anyone else buy the big box? Thoughts? Questions?

I'll do a comparison and get back to you. I'm thinking there's gonna be quite a few things that didn't make it into the book in this box.

Use magnets (there's pictures out there on the designer's Twitter or Instagram or something), and don't glue walls to pillars and don't glue the stairs to anything.

Yes. Get a box that fits it (not being a smart-alec here, I promise)- a Rubbermaid box will do nicely. Then, you'll find drawer liners in the kitchenware stuff at your local store (Wal-Mart has this) and lay a sheet between each tile. This is how I transport my Secret Weapon terrain tiles.

No, sadly. But you'll want the one from October with "Assault On Precinct-Fortress 17". This mission campaign is a LOT of fun.

2 is more than enough. But playing on a 3' x 3' is a lot better, IMHO (it cuts out Van Saar shenanigans, and I say this as a Van Saar player).

Without 3 people throwing in on it, and everyone being equally enthusiastic over it, I wouldn't have paid the money for it. I'd say if you only want one of the gangs, or the terrain... just wait a little while.

Also, scout Goggles look awesome on the Subjugator helmets, and fit nicely on the forehead plate.

Can't answer everything, but here is what I do know:

1. Yes, many important differences. You'd have to look at the indexes to compare, but on top of my head, I'd say the new rulebook would only include those parts strictly needed for playing with the stuff that is in the box. So you'll get rules for the 2 gangs, their weapons only, their weapon traits only etc. What you won't get is rules for Psykers, Dominion campaign, previous scenarios, trading post, black market, house/cult/outlaw/genestealer favours, sub-plots, or anything else.

You also get a lot of copy-paste from earlier books, like core game mechanics and rules, several campaign elements (XP, injuries), some of the core/universal campaign mechanics, stuff related to the contents of the box already mentioned above (like weapon traits, weapon profiles, gang rules, skills).

Unfortunately, you also get some of the sloppy copy-pasting GW always do for Necromunda books. For example you get the horribly incorrect ganger advancement table from Gang War 1 book (Turf War). You also get some weird mix-up between photo-lumens and photo-goggles in CGC Equipment List (compared to Book of Ruin).
4. There has never been any cards for Necromunda in any White Dwarf as far as I know.
