I'm a huge fan of the Skullcrushers, but I've never liked it when the riders and the mounts are basically the same color. So for this second batch, I decided to try off-white armor and black trim for the Juggernauts. To be honest, I was originally going to do brass trim, but I applied the white first over black primer, and then I sort of looked at it and thought, you know, I like the black.

Anyway, I've got nine more of these guys, and I think I'm sticking with this color scheme. The red armor for the riders still makes them look like they belong to the rest of my army (pretty standard Goretide colors), and I really prefer this look for the Juggs. Plus the blood shows up better, which, you know, those hooves are melee weapons as per the warscroll, so they gotta have blood on 'em.

I like them - they should pop on the tabletop. The contrast between the Juggers and the riders works well and there's enough flashes of red on them to tie the two together. Nice work

Nice - just the same old red and brass Khorne colors get boring and it's rare to see people break the mold.

Yeah, tbqh I was also just kinda getting sick of the colors. It's nice to have a consistent looking army and all, but I really needed to break up the monotony, and these guys seemed like the perfect excuse to do it.
