Hello everyone !

I am wondering which datasheet an astra militarum player would have to use (Or can use) when fielding the adeptus ministorum crusaders. Both have different point values, maximum squad size and act of faith abilities, so they kinda look like different units to me even tho the profiles are exactly the same. Does that mean the player has to make the choice or do you have to take the most up to date datasheet ? It is not specified in the AM's codex erratas.

If you want to use the Beta codex version, you can. It's explicitly stated they would prefer if you did. If you don't, then you use the Astra Copywritum version, warts and all.

Once the SoB codex releases GW said in the Beta Codex they are going to errata the Astra Copywritum version to match the SoB version.

I think they will still be usable in an Astra Copywritum detachment (they keep the ASTRA COPYWRITUM keyword) much the same way as the Beta Codex version can still be used.

Indeed, but since some reviews of the new SOB codex are already avaible, i checked to see how crusaders were impacted, and the maximum squad capacity dropped to 6. So i'm guessing that the AM codex will be updated to this particular, most up to date version.
I don't mind having the act of faith changed, as it is a very wanky mechanic in the AM codex atm, but being able to field and buff a 10 men squad alongside a priest is priceless.
