Started off with a 15mm scale Dreamforge leviathan, but as that is a bit too short for a knight (4.6”, so it needs an extra 1.5” to 2.0” inches in height). So I extended the legs and the torso, then widened the shoulders and chest. Changed the head (as it didn’t fit the 40k aesthetic ). Added a few valhallans having a bad day to the base (and claw). Weapons switch out (so it can double Gatling,or have claw and reaper chainblade). (Still need to add the flamers to the gatlings).

Lots of decorating and finishing details to go!

Got two more kits. So thinking that one will will be built normal scale as a war dog/Armiger... not sure about the third... not sure if I have enough bits for another full size!

And an alternate weapon and the chaosification has commenced!

Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Little bit more: Playing around while waiting on paints. Fiddled with the claw arm and started to put a war dog /helverin together:

(Think the upper arm might need a bit more bulk now)

I think the feet need side toes. They look to narrow to support the upper torso bulk.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Yeah, I’m toying with that for the big one. Need to go through my bits box again!

(Might leave the little one without, to keep the size as different as possible)

I did a similar purchase, 3 little ones and 1 big one. Currently working on upscaling one of them as a regular knight. I'm thinking 3 regular knights, the big one as either a Castigator, Acastus, or Warhound and then some GW Amigers to round out the Lance. Maybe a dechaosified Desecrator to go with the Armigers at some point.

Did you use any particular bits for the belly on yours? That's the part I'm currently drawing a blank on for mine.
I've got an idea for the shoulders, and already extended the legs at the lower 2 segments (pics to follow).

So for mine, I used parts of a dreamforge 25mm powerclaw kit. (It was only 5 bucks or so on sale and I thought it might be good as bits or for an oversize weapon). It was huge! Far too big for kitbashing on a 15mm even after extreme cutting. But the main bodies of the arms fit neatly under the chin area (the bit just below the head. So I’ve ended up with 25 mm arms pieces as chests on my 15 mms.

(Plus a heap of other bit too, to make a box. I raided the bits box pretty ruthlessly, taking unused bits of a 1/48 hind passenger compartment, a 1/72 tiger tank, some parts off a 1/35 scale elefant. Was getting worried about having enough left to do the third kit... until I remembered I had an Unassembled foetid bloat drone... so the third might be a nurgleified knight!)

Welp, finally got around to taking some pictures.

Spoiler:

I'm trying to go in a more Battletech direction (Shoulder missile pods!) . Hopefully I'll be able to go to a fleamarket on saturday for some kitbashing supplies.

A little bit of paint - still lots to do (both adding final bits to the model as well as paint/basing)
