Hi all, I would like to get some advice on this list.

It includes some units that are not "top tier" (spiders, walkers), but I'd like to try make them work in a competitive environment.

Not sure about the craftworld attribute. Another idea I have is to take off the spiders, equip the WW's with starcannons, fit in a guardian blob and Fire Dragons and run Biel-Tan (points permitting).

Well, here it is:

Minor point: The Power level on the DRs is not 13. That'd be for a full unit. 6 DRs is only gonna be PL 10.

That said, I'd shuffle to one minimum unit, with the Exarch Tempest Launcher, and beef the other up, making Guide pay off more efficiently. One unit of 3 DRs and then the other a full 9 or 10, if you have the models.

I'd go Star Cannons on the WWs as primaris marines are likely to be rampant, this the d3 damage. BLs are too swingy and I think the meta is going to shift away from vehicles, at least in SM lists.

Warlock on a bike: He's too fragile. I think the Spiritseer is better for more wounds, and you don't need the jetbike's mobility when so much of your list is fast anyway.

Good points. I don't like the BL's either, though I would really lack anti-vehicle fire. What about the best craftworld attribute to pick? Do you see the warp spiders in a bad spot or they make a point?

Beil-Tan for the Battalion cuz you have a lot of shuriken.

Your Spearhead detachment as Alaitoc because you'll want those units far away from the enemy. I'm pretty sure you can move the 4th Wave Serpent back into the battalion. Whether Warp Spiders can use it or not, it can be 'bought' for them, at least as the rule book's 'language' reads on page 244.

Right! What you mean about the spiders, moving them to the spearhead? Anyway, I've tried doing what you suggested, adding more DR's but had to take spiders off at all. Added in the Guardian blob with 2 shuriken cannons to benefit even more from Biel-Tan.

Hey Man

Couple things id interject -

Why run autarch skyrunner with reaper launcher?
If you going to have him snipining then just put him on foot + falochus wing and put him in the same detachment as the reapers so he can babysit them and give them all re-roll ones hiding way out in the backfield. He wants full BS so don't want to move

Id put the reapers in a 3x 3 man squads with 2x tempest(rain of death exarch poer) and 1x EML fast shot (double tap). or 2x3 1x4.

Make the detatchemnt master crafters and masters of concealment or Master shots for always in cover 12+" or ignore cover. With your autarch you will basically have the output of larger squads due to reliability but smaller foot print. You can take a serpent to hide them and the autarch in in that detchament. Give the serpent twin BL. + spirit stone to double him up as backfield long range support. Also put the walkers in single entitiy squads in the same detachment to max out master crafters re-rolls.

This way you don't need guide, is reliable as hell and you can spread your shots better and make each shot count.
Remember autarch can only buff the same craftworld keyword as his detachment.

Id take Eldrad/ Farseer & warlock combo for seer council strat. If you are taking 20 guardians you might as well run ulthwe for black guardians and Eldrad.. (I like ulthwe rangers. They are still -1 with 3+ 6+++ as ulthwe)

I wouldn't take more troops than you need to fill a minimum detachment... Our troops are a tax and they suck in comparison to our other units. A big blob of guardians out of DS does pack a punch but is reliant on doom at the minimum (guide + doom + discipline of the black guardians to really put on the hurt). Put them in the enemy lines and watch them really put on the hurt.
