So we have extensive background going back decades on how Marines are enhanced, but what about the Sisters?
Is there anything conclusive about what augmentations they get? At the very least should we assume there's some interfaces for their suits? Rejuve treatments for the older members? Improved reflexes for the elite units?
Anyone heard anything?
My head canon is that the Sisters all wear wigs (presumably fireproof ones) and under them their scalps is a web of wires and interfaces, but they have to remain human looking on the outside since the human form is after all perfect and destined to inherit the galaxy.

That's a good call - or it could be like the UFO TV series where purple wigs were part of the uniform.

The older art features quite some bionics, the new repentia show those plug-and-play ports for power amor and yes, some of the hair suspiciously looks like wigs. Rejuvenat treatments are confirmed for Setheno and - iirc - for the canoness in one of the Miriya novels. So, appears they are quite tuned.

I don’t think there’s inherent augmentation, beyond the necessary plugs and ports for their armour.
Certainly nowhere near the biological Marine equivalent or technological Mechanicus equivalent.
But we can see from the new models that they’re clearly not shy about bionics.
My ‘in character’ guess is that any Sister’s who’s faith and obstinacy let’s them survive grievous wounds are rewarded with a rebuild, that they might shine as a better example of faith.
You may take my limbs, knack my bonce and rupture my organs, but the God Emperor will provide, then I’ll be back to bionic kick you in the face, you cheeky heretical scamp.

agreed, yet at the same time they likely don't peruse bionic ENHANCEMENT (replacing gak randomly so it works better) because the imperial creed talks about the supremacy of the human form
