Hi all. This was an ebay rescue that I stripped and repainted. I've never tried to do freehand like this before - I've done a bit of gothic text, but never representative art like this.

I think the weathering suits it and the freehand is pretty damn good for a first attempt.
It's one of those things I know I have to work on.
I've always been able to colour in fairly well - just not draw unless I'm copying something directly over many hours.
I think you more than rescued it, you redeemed it

Looks very impressive but I'm a sucker for freehand because I stink at it.

Gotta say though the first picture makes the guy in the hatch look like he's balding. Like "Take this you whipper snappers!"
