Subject: Space Wolf Blood Claw pack leader Wolf claws

So I’m building a pack of blood claws and in the book it has wolf claws as a weapon for the blood claw pack leader. When I look at the data sheet wolf claws aren’t really an option. So are wolf claws a thing or not

That's a Wolf Guard Pack Leader. WGPL are the same points cost as a Blood Claw, there is never any reason to not take one. WGTPL cost more points though.

Looking at my electronic copy of the book:
BC Pack Leader can swap his chainsword for power(sword/axe/fist)
Only the Wolf Guard Pack Leader has access to the melee weapon list and pair wolf claws.

That’s what I’m saying but the assembly book for the blood claw pack leader has wolf claws as a weapon option

The Datasheet says it all, you can only give them the options listed. Are you sure it is a Blood Claw Pack Leader and not a Wolf Guard Pack Leader?

That's a Wolf Guard Pack Leader.
WGPL are the same points cost as a Blood Claw, there is never any reason to not take one. WGTPL cost more points though.
Unless i missed something in CA2019 blood claws are now 12 points whereas WGPL are 13? Happy to be wrong and have them both as 12 though
