Hello, I am looking to make a fun World Eaters rush list. While I initially included some cultists to sit around and collect points, I opted for an in your face red tide instead. The only unit I'm not all in to include is the bikers, but I seriously lack shooting. Let me know what you think and what I can tweak. thanks

I’m at work now so just going straight forward.

First. You have a mixed detachment so you don’t get any trait or stratagems so I would remove the BL unit to make it a WE detachment and getting those.

Second. If you remove all maulerfiends and drake you get 506 points to add a CD detachment so you can have your BL and upgrade their banner for 3D6 on the charge and DS them.
Adding a DP (you should give him skullreaver) and a herald of khorne and you have 285 points left to fill that detachment with 2 troops and you have another battalion. Going for locust of khorne is not necessary so add nurglings or brimstone horrors for cheap.

Third. If you add cheap brimstone horrors you have points left for a unit of 10 warp talons so you can DS and deny overwatch.

Thanks for the advice, the Bloodletters and Warp Talon deep strike combo does sound nasty. I'm not sure what you mean about your first point. The K. berzerkers entry has the keyword Legion, from the codex "When you include such a unit in your army, you must nominate which Legion that unit is from" . While Bloodletters do not get to use strategems/traits of the list, having them around does not mean the marines are not World Eaters. Am I understanding this correctly?

Including the bloodletters who do not have legion keyword makes the detachment unaligned and make it so none gets legion trait, you don’t unlock any stratagem (csm or CD).

Another piece of advice is that if you take Daemon engines, go with one or more Lord Discordant as they give +1 to hit and with special detachment and warlord trait can give +2 to move if within 6”. This is really good combination with Slaanesh Daemons so you can advance and charge.

jp, Taz is right, having BLs would screw the legion on its traits. Look at how Fabius and the Fallen can be added, not affecting a legion's traits. Daemons aren't mentioned there, so going with a permissive rule set ...

Besides 30 BLs ought to have their daemon codex banner shenanigans, otherwise, the 9" charge is too swingy at 17 outta 36 chances on 2 dice. The Caemon banner's 3 dice brings it up to ... heck I dunno. A lot better.

A Dark Apostle and/or exalted champion would go a long way to making the Khornes Bs stronger. I'd take the E.C. 1st over the D.A. because his buff is assured, if he's there. The apostle's buff has that stupid 3+, needing to be on table at turn's beginning (Eliminators, anyone? ).

Further, try to devleop a second battalion, as Taz suggested. This edition is all about having enough strategems to power the goofery.
