After painting Wargame Exclusives alternate not Mephiston, I didn't expect a commission for the real deal.

I love the mini now I've painted him but like a lot of GW's recent minis he proved quite tricky for numerous reasons.
Is it just me or is it getting harder and harder to sub assemble and paint separately due to awkward joins?
Still, I'm happy with the result.

I am plan to paint one in the new year but I'm struggling with what colour to paint the robes - I want the red armour to be darker than the normal BA type... It's giving me a headache.

Nice work. I love me some Mephiston. Not blown away by the new sculpt, but it looks pretty good.

Would actually look great in alternate non-Blood Angel schemes.
