Hi Guys,

I think the answer is yes and yes but want someone to confirm for me.

I have a 10 man paladin squad with 4 heavy weapons and 6 close combat guys. I want to combat squad them.

1) can I put 4 heavy weapons in 1 half of the combat squad. It's usually only 2 per 5 men.

2) can I deploy half on the board and half in deepstrike.

1) Yes, there is no restiction on which models go in which half.
2) Yes, you combat squad "Before any models are deployed at the start of the game" so you can choose to deploy each half however you wish.

Now that's a cheeky way to upgrade your purgation squad.

Yes to both questions.

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"
