A Christmas Announcement
from Neal at TheWarStore!
As you probably know we had to cease operations but I am VERY happy to announce that Noble Knight Games has purchased TheWarStore.com domain!

For years I have worked with and known the team at Noble Knight and I’m confident that they can fulfill any of the gaming needs you may have -- whether you are buying, trading or selling! Do yourself a favor this Christmas - clear out anything game related that is gathering dust, and go to this link on their site: www.nobleknight.com/Buy-Sell-Trade and BAM! Trade that old stuff for a new army, game, or even CASH!

This is what you can expect from my friends at Noble Knight:
• New & Used games in all categories, the largest selection in the world under one roof (!), including war games, board games, miniature games, RPG’s, CCG’s and much, much more
• Discounted pricing on new miniatures and games, FREE U.S. Shipping on orders over $149, a HUGE clearance and free items section, and fair pricing on used and rare titles
• A buy-sell-trade program for games, books, miniatures and anything gaming related with U.S. shipping provided free both ways*!
• Not only all that, but Noble Knight has generously offered to take on any store credit you may have had with TheWarStore and honor that with their store. They didn’t buy this from me and they didn’t need to do this, but decided to offer this up because they thought it was the right thing to do!
• They went even further and are even offering up a 10% off code exclusively to Warstore Customers so enter WARSTORE during checkout to save that extra little bit of cash! This code is good for the next week so act fast!

Free shipping at $149.

Vallejo Paint Sets. About $2 per bottle. : https://www.nobleknight.com/ClearanceItems?CategoryId=4&PageSize=100&SortBy=title&PageNumber=12#pf

I guess if you haven't bought from the Warstore before don't use the code.

EDIT: Updated the title, thanks!

Was just going to post this, maybe update the title to let people know NK is honoring Warstore credit incase some casual browsers don't read the post?

Also good on Noble Knight for the credit. Sure it's good marketing for them but it's a win-win for everyone involved.

I wish I could consider that good news, but I'm not a fan of Noble Knight, at all.

Nice of them to honor credit, etc.

I've used them many times for OOP and used stuff but never for new games, how are they?

Got a bunch of new stuff in the past. They're pretty good, but they sometimes put stickers on booster packs.

My main gripe, and why I don't give them any business is that they artificially inflate MSRP on products they sell on eBay (normally foreign products), and then mark them as "30-35%" off...while the new price is still more than the actual cost of the product. That kind of practice makes them a no-go for me. It's very noticeable on Micro Arts stuff, the occasional Ziterdes, and the 4Ground items they carry.

In theory I agree with you Elbows- they do mark up quite a bit of niche stuff from smaller companies.

On the flipside though I've seen them do the exact same thing in the opposite direction.

Just recently they had the quite pricey full scale Dropzone Commander two player starter box for under 40 dollars. I've gotten a few brand new Mierce Darklands models from them for nearly a third of their actual retail price.

I think it's really just hit and miss, and their eBay prices are always kinda screwy. Sometimes it'll list one thing on eBay and be significantly cheaper on their actual store.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Watch and listen to me ramble about these minis before ruining them with paint!

I've had good experiences with them in the past. They'll get my business again in the future.

I'l back this sentiment up as well.

Not a fan, and there are better places to do business with like MM or Gamenerdz that give the standard discounts.

And if you've ever considering their Trade in system, don't bother.

This price inflation may be due to import costs. None of those companies have any US distributors. It's been a few years but when I use to go to FLGS and try and get products from small European companies the price was always well over what they sold for on those store's websites. I remember even trying to get an Infinity ITS pack before they put those in distribution and the cost was over $100 for something that's sold now by Gamenerdz for $50. I ended up ordering that pack from Australia as it was cheaper after shipping then getting it local or from CB directly.

There are other companies in the US who sell these same products without the artificial markup/discount, etc. Again, not condemning them for other people, but I choose where I spend my money, and simple scammy things like this mean Noble Knight does not get any money from me.

I'm sure they're fine for 40K and other "controlled" products, or US based products, but when I see any kind of scammy behavior, that leads me to shop elsewhere.
