Subject: Expand Kill Team or start playing Necromunda?

Say you've been playing regular Kill Team with only the core rule book and its units, how would you go further into your 40K skirmish games?
Would you invest in the expansions for Kill Team and flesh it out, or would you consider giving Necromunda a shot? If you are a Necromunda player first, how would you feel likewise?
EDIT: To be clear, this is not meant to be a "Kill Team vs Necromunda" thread, but to discuss the cross road a player will find themselves at.

Necromunda is a fantastic campaign game. If you've got a play group that's up for a campaign then necromunda absolutely should be on your bucket list.
If not, then kill team is definitely better for one off games (the KT campaign system is thoroughly underwhelming). Add Elites, it improves balance substantially. Commanders is a big change and applies only to the commander missions. Arena is another alternative mission style. My recommendation for KT is to acquire a full set of missions (there's over a hundred now!) and select them at random.

So its pretty much down to enhancing a single skirmish or a campaign series. Thats pretty good come to think of it - bit like the difference between Frostgrave and AoS: Skirmish. Cool beans.
Cheers for that, Scott.

I've got the Kill Team addons, Arena, Rogue Trader etc. But each map has its limits (Arena and Rogue Trader are only doublesided maps). So for me, there wasn't much reason not to pick up some of the Necromunda Underhive floor tiles off eBay to increase possible gameplay. 9 doublesided tiles which you can rotate 4 ways. So for a standard 3 ft by 2 ft map, 6 tiles from a possible 72 options gives a wide variety of terrain that allows narrative play to be increased into a campaign. And in that, you get the best of both worlds.

Must say I've been thinking about Necromunda: Underhive as I do like the underground tile boards. And using the contents tray as a separate chamber is great design!
The included gangs are quite fetching too...

You can do both! This is what I use for Kill Team and Necromunda: Everything in this picture can be used in Necromunda. More than half can be used in Kill Team.

That is true! They have the GSC rules on the community channel, and I've found the basic rules for the game...hmmm. Its definitely a team I'd be comfortable with.
Just remembered the Ambull has rules for Necro', and also possible to play as chaos cultists(BSF's Cultists of the Abyss, maybe?). With rules for traps, hazards and terrain, the designer in me is seeing a great oppertunity for a "Monster setting up home in a gang hideout" scenario...possibly played solo/cooperatively? Maybe a patrol of Enforcers have drawn the short straw and are sent to investigate sightings of a mysterious beast?

Solo play should be fairly easy to implement. BSF has its own rules for how the "enemy" move in single player mode and I'm pretty certain Warcry has its own ruleset for monsters when playing against 2 warbands. Either should be modifiable to get the same rules into Necromunda. This could add a lot of options for Chaos beasts appearing from the Warp into the Hive.
I was planning on a Kill Team game with Sisters or Grey Knights against Chaos Daemons in a Hive setup. You've given me an idea to be able to change it to single player and let the dice/rules dictate the opposition moves. Cheers

Come to think of it, there are scatter dice for random movement! Y'know, for when your models are out of sight, and then revert to full-on Robert Patrick mode when spotted.
