Hey guys I just picked up a necrons army and I really like the idea of the deceiver and it has a cool model but I want to kitbash my own to save some money and because I really enjoy kit bashing my own models. What would be some key elements to incorporate to make him look accurate?

The deceiver is mostly just a tall muscular man with a grinning face. He does have a crown that pionts back and ribbons that flow around him but the first two are the main parts. The grinning face is probably the most important.

Depending on how large you want your model to be you can use many of the chaos beefcake models from AoS. Brass rod can then be used to make him hover and greenstuff can be rolled into sheets which you can turn into his cloak. Getting the cloak texture might be difficult though. I don't think that a grinning face is necessary, as he is deceitfull so having multiple expressions would be helpful.
