I'm thinking of picking this up for my Nephews to play. Does anyone know how many/which necron models are needed? like, how many of each would conceivably need to be on the table @ once? I cant stand chits representing models that exist, so picking up a couple necrons to get rid of chits is "cheap".
I know I'll need an Overlord & some warriors, but am unsure what others.
thanks

to be honest this is more justification for the Heroes models inside.

Found a video with a review, they did not go into detail but in the comments someone mentions ther are cards/chips for:
12 Necron Warriors, 5 Necron Immortals, 5 Necron Lychguard, and 1 Necron Overlord.

Which happen to be the same sizes as how they sell the kits...

You would need a box each of the following...

Warriors
Immortals
Lych Guard
Lord

...which is basically "Start collecting Necrons" with a box of Lych Guard(Praetorians). However, due to base sizes, the tokens are probably more practical.

Also consider this; by the time you've paid out for Labyrinth and the Necron models, you might as well have gone for Blackstone Fortress, which has a lot more substance. In years to come your Nephews will probably come to worship you for introducing them to it.

I'm more or less using it as an excuse to get the Salamander w flamer(+others)& more bad guys for them to play 40k against. they got bored playing against my Ynarri and Flawless Host. I am interested in BSF but will wait till after my Bloody Rose are finished.

thanks for the help.
