Thanks everybody for the great comments. I have always loved the Black Legion scheme of black and gold but wanted a warband to call my own. So I decided to pay homage to the Black Legion while tweaking the colours a little. I started pretty late, like June this year and hence all the newer models! Well in truth it was the new chaos line with Abaddon that finally sealed the deal with me.

Lore is semi important to me as it sort of keeps me motivated to do more and have more unique models and including the new death guard stuff in the colour seemed to make them pop so much more as compared to their usual green.

Also for the person asking bout the basing, it is made mixing clear resin with blood for the blood god and gives a really nice fresh blood effect.
