Hi guys.
I've been asked to post the army I played with last weekend, because my two opponents are absolutely sure this is tying the detachment rules into a knot...

Brigade detachment:

So, if my math is correct, this brings me to 1500 points exactly. I start out with 26 CP, before paying for the assassin to join me.
The plan is that initially the squads with heavy weapons remain stationary, reaping the benefit of ample orders, while the sentinels and the flamer squads advance to secure objectives and board control.

I realize this is a very tourney-hostile army, as it takes a week to set up to start a match, but as I play in a fairly casual club, thats not an issue. My co-players are pulling their hair out over the number of CP I have and the lack of hard targets to shoot at.

What do you guys think?

Doing the math, just fyi, you are a few over points when you buy the primaris psykers their obligatory staffs, the lord commisar his obligatory powerswrod, and new cost price the mortar squads, and pay for the ratling sniper rifles.

Thanks man, I figured there was something a bit of, just couldn't put my finger on it.
At least the ratlings have never actually done anything in my games, so good riddance...

Good luck moving and rolling that army. I'm in the process of scaling down my infantry due to this very reason. 100 guardsmen is enough for 1500.

Also, where are your Tempestors? They fill the gap for mobile objective grabbers
