Hello, people of Dakka!

Here to share one of my recent stuff, a fairly messive one:
Ghost of Titan, the Questor Imperialis of Gray Knights.
It's a commission. A moderately customized Knight Preceptor with handsculpted elements and all magnetized for easier transportation and weapon swaps for tabeltop gaming needs.
The two particular things requested by the customer were "Gray Knights Imperial Knight" and "Ghost of Titan", as this Questor's name.
With the first one I went for bas-reliefs, inspired by Grey Knights banners and heraldry, all are handsculpted at corresponded areas, according to Imperial Knights heraldry principles (unreasonably huge WIP pics under the spoiler).

For the second, I dicided to go as the name implies and make it literal - a long dead pilot, glowing with the psychic energies, for even in death one still serve.
As a final touch, a Halberd was made from Nemesis Greatsword of Dreadknight so to add a Gray Knights signature psychic weapon option.
So now an ancient machine, weathered by countless battles and driven by the sheer force of psychic will, roams through the dust storm, "armoured in faith, shielded by devotion and armed with purity of purpose":

That is amazing work! It feels... subtle but deep, if that makes sense? Like, it's dark yet the colours are impactful. It's a great colourscheme and I love how you've repeated it in different elements in a way that feels meaningful. And the texture! I love how everything is subtly weathered, it adds texture and visual interest, and of course a sense of realism.

The choice to leave the darker areas (feet, inner machinery etc) less detailed is interesting. If you stare at those areas they look flat, but when you take in the whole model I think their "flatness" helps draw the eye to the important parts of the model, making those important parts stand out despite the overall rather dark colour scheme.

That's great. I love the falchion and the heraldry shield!
