Walking Dead Wraithlord

Hi All

I've been working on my latest conversion on a wraith lord models today, nothing fancy just a knee joint operation to give one of his legs a knee bend to pose him more dynamically on a base.
Naturally I use blue tac before going ahead and gluing bits together to get an idea of the pose/ movement flow I want.

But once the glue comes out it all seems to just end up having a mind of its own and stuff seems to move around.
However It kind of got a bit annoying how all the different parts are moving around whilst trying to get everything in the right positions like in the tac stage. You srot of end up wishing for an extra hand or at least another thumb lol..

So It got me thinking if there is any aids/tools out there. I have one of the magnifying helping hand things, but to be honest I primarily use the clamps to gold things in the airbrush booth as they are bit of apain to use and are not flexible enough.

I went out looking and haven't really found anything until I found this:

This thing looks like Dr Octopus arms so its certainly cool! However I'm not sure if it can hold up like a wraith knight torso or some metal parts.

Has anyone used this or similar ?
What other solutions have people come up with when it comes to tricky builds?

I use blu tack as a clamp and support to hold tricky joints for the couple of minutes it takes plastic glue and JB Kwik to dry. For superglue, use zip kicker.

the citadel assembly handle works pretty well for me.

I have several sets of 'helping hands" (for soldering) that get used with certain model making endeavours.

Mostly larger pieces that need to be held in place while epoxy sets.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
