So I finally mustered up the confidence to post some of my minis from my homebrew chapter the Redeemers. If people are interested I may post some of the lore I’ve made for them if that’s even allowed on this subforum.

First off is Naemo, Lord Wayfinder of the chapter and captain of 2nd company

Next we have his second in command Lieutenant Exscelium Poenitens a warrior of seemingly unknown origin to all but the higher echelons of the chapter and an enigma amongst the already secretive members of the chapter

C & C obviously welcome and sorely needed.

I also have several other HQ and Elites choices I made using just intercessor bits (it’s super hard to get actual stuff delivered here and I had 14 spare Intercessors) . I’ll probably post some of the lore for my homebrew soon

To truly understand the Redeemers one must understand the circumstances behind their creation.

The Shattered Founding

In M.38 it was decided that several chapters of space marines were to be created in order to guard the major warp rifts in the eastern fringe. One of these chapters was the Redeemers. However just as the Founding came to fruition disaster struck. The Chaos Lord [Redacted] and his warband The Red Hand burst forth from the warp rifts destroying several chapters outright and crippling several others with the aid of the nearby Tau empire. The Redeemers chapter master Laegulus, rather than stand by and watch his fellow space marine chapters fall did the unthinkable. In direct violation of the Codex Astartes he absorbed several other chapters some of which numbered only in the dozens of members into the Redeemers and reported them destroyed utterly.

Basically my chapter is really several small chapters in a trench coat acting as one. I was heavily inspired by the Shattered Legions in the HH and also I wanted an excuse for different paint schemes in my army. There will be more lore coming soon too. Opinions on my background lore so far?

You've got a nice start going here! The guy with the helmet in his hand is a good looking kit bash.

I can't say much for the accuracy of the background because accuracy had never been one of my strong suits, i like the basic idea behind it and i could see it happening myself, considering how broken the imperium is supposed to be right now.

Thanks! The guy holding the head is just waiting for a couple more bits but I’m pretty excited with how it’s gonna turn out. The background isn’t super accurate but I thought it sounded cool which is really all I want with 40k lore.
