1. I think it might be better to hide your markerdrones inside of your shield drone units, 2 per unit should do.
2. You have enough markerlights, you can problably get your riptides to have 4 or 5 markerlights on priority targets, you may not need the target locks.
3. Your commander is probably better off with CIB and ATS, and move the drone controller to one of the riptides.

Spreading the marker drones is a good idea but I wanted them to stick together as one shield drone unit will follow the riptides, one will stay by the broadsides. While the marker squad will stay with the commander to light up targets. If they castle then it not a problem mixing them.

I find redundancy is best for the marker lights as it will allow atleast 2 max targets maybe 3 with good rolls.

The commander is for a bit of extra back field protection and chaff clearing while using the 2 stratagems to assist with wounding.

Whether you castle or not, a good opponent knows you have to kill drones first before using the big guns on battlesuits. The marker drone unit becomes a prime target. If you mix them in with the shield squads, that doesn't happen. You might also consider an ethereal to lend his leadership value to the drone units (and everyone else) and give everyone else 6+ feel no pain.
