So, anyone got some of those models? They look amazing as digital models. Their details seem to go way down when you get a real model, but they still seem quite nice models. Most importantly, they are selling stylish models which could replace Demonettes in my Chaos Demon armies. There are a lot of GW models who just plainly suck. Chaos demons have a lot of them and it seems that Raging Heroes alternatives would serve great as a skin swaps. Of course, I'm not thinking about entering any GW run tournaments, I'm just concerned about esthetic look of those models. Never got past all this "Slaanesh is all about sexuality and seduction, but its demons look hideous and malformed" stuff. It is time when someone does Slaanesh right!

So, any experiences with Raging Heroes models or in general? Also, what is up with this limited edition nonsense? It seems that all of their stock is limited edition. Is this type of limited edition which regularly comes back as their presses start printing more models? It seems silly to pretend that your major line is a limited edition set.

I haven't had any experience with their "space elf" line in particular, but I've purchased quite a few of their not-Sisters models.

The mold/casting quality has always been pretty-good to good. Details are less sharp than in digital previews but are still present and distinct. Faces in particular are always a bit "flatter" than the promos seem to show. (I'm not very good at painting human faces, though, so that doesn't help.). In a couple of minor instances they've made bad design decisions--I had models with "wolverine style" power claws which simply did not cast well at all. The blades were too fine and close together to come out clean; most were fused together, broken, or both. But that's been the exception. The models have had lots of fine details--streamers and chains and all the other baroque gubbins--which all came out well.

Cleaning was straightforward and standard for resin models.
The early models were a bitch to assemble. They had lots of shallow ball-in-socket type joints which--especially in such tiny size--were difficult to position and hold in place while glue set. The two-hands-on-rifle pose was probably the toughest to get right. Later models (from the same Kickstarter line) had more peg-and-recess type joints and were much, much easier. I don't know if that was due to feedback and design improvements, or just that the later models were larger sculpts.

Final observation is that the resin minis are as delicate as they look. Ballet-dancer posing means you need to drill holes for a peg or a pin in the base. Some bits are very prone to snapping. I've ended up drilling and pinning the wing-like jet packs for their Seraphim equivalents; otherwise, every single wing would snap after the most minimal handling.

They're very good models, but are subject to all the usual issues of resin cast minis, exacerbated by the extremely gracile nature of the sculpts. The resin orks I've bought and assembled were big and chonky and easy by comparison.

I don't know how "limited edition" they really are. I wasn't in on the KS, so all my purchases were standard web-store transactions. They've staggered the retail releases from the KS over a year or more, but I don't think they have much of anything left to reveal.

Thank you, I'm interested in resin myself, but I need to wait few months more until I will get proper tools set up like a drill or a table lamp for better illumination. I'm interested to see how much different their models are since their price is double. 3D printing being cheap my ass!

I will buy one of their cheaper models next month to see how I like them for myself. I like third party suppliers as they provide me more options for my models which GW doesn't provide. It would be great to know if there is any more such third party suppliers for warhammer tabletop.

I mean, why daemonettes can't be more like this?

It is sexy, safe for marketing and in general, a lot better looking model than nonsense they have since forever. Instead, if you want something more decent you have to get lucky with old models who ironically is what GW wants to distance itself from:

I've consistently had issues with Raging Heroes models. The most common issue is mould slip, to the point where most of the kit is unsalvageable. The resin they use also feels brittle to me.
