I have no idea; no familiarity with WarCry whatsoever. Sorry.
Kill-Team is basically
40K, but less so. It's scaled down to a squad-on-squad skirmish where each mini acts individually. It's much cheaper than
40K, 'cause even if you go nuts you have a maximum roster size of 20 and you only need enough terrain for a 22'x30' board.
IMO, it's far more 'fun' and engaging than
40K in its present state is.
A box of Eight Genestealers with Toxin Sacs costs $40 (plus HST, natch) and is a 100pt Kill-Team by itself. A box of Gretchin and a box of Boyz will run you $64 (plus HST) and is also a 100pt Kill-Team, plus you have enough bits to make a Warboss from the Runtherd. A single $70 Heretic Astartes box is a Kill-Team. Two Dark Angels Veteran boxes (and a few bitz) makes a 200pt Kill-Team including 2 Terminators toting Assault Cannons. Costs $78 (plus HST, bitz).
And again, even if you go super-crazy and go to Forge-World, an eleven-strong Kill-Team made from the Cadian Hostile Environment minis will only cost $101, plus shipping and whatever three pairs of Cadian legs costs on that there ebay they have now. A fifteen-strong Death Korps of Krieg Kill-Team can be done for $150...
And so on and so forth.
