I've always been a massive fan of World Eaters and Night Lords, and with the boons granted them by Faith and Fury I've been wanting to try them out. I've drafted two lists, and I am having a hard time deciding which I like better:

The first:
Spoiler:
Battalion - World Eaters; Gifts of Chaos (-1CP)
HQ:
Khorne Daemon Prince with Wings, Hellforged Sword, Warp Bolter, Warlord, Z'aall the Wrathful, Violent Urgency
Exalted Champion, Chainsword, Gorefather, MoK

Troops:
10x Cultists, MoK
10x Cultists, MoK
5x Khorne Berzerkers w Chainaxe/Chainsword, Icon of Wrath

Battalion - World Eaters
HQ:
Kharn the Betrayer
Master of Executions, MoK

Troops:
5x Khorne Berzerkers w Chainaxe/Chainsword, Icon of Wrath
7x Khorne Berzerkers w Chainaxe/Chainsword, Icon of Wrath
8x Khorne Berzerkers w Chainaxe/Chainsword, Icon of Wrath

Elites:
10x Chaos Terminators, MoK, IoW, Red Butchers (-2CP)

Heavy Support:
Defiler, Defiler Scourge, Reaper Autocannon, MoK

Dedicated Transport:
Chaos Rhino, Combi-Bolter, MoK
Chaos Rhino, Combi-Bolter, MoK
Chaos Rhino, Combi-Bolter, Combi-bolter MoK

Outrider Detachment - Night Lords, Specialist Detachment, Field Commander
HQ:
Sorcerer with Jump Pack, Tip of the Claw, Prescience, Warptime, MoT

Fast Attack:
5x Warp Talons, MoK
5x Warp Talons, MoK
5x Raptors, Plasma gunx2, Champion w Combi-Plasma & Chainsword, MoS

Total: 2,000 points; 9CP

The second:
Spoiler:

Exalted Champion, Chainsword, Gorefather, MoK

Battalion - World Eaters

Master of Executions, MoK

Troops:
5x Khorne Berzerkers w Chainaxe/Chainsword
7x Khorne Berzerkers w Chainaxe/Chainsword, Icon of Wrath

Elites:

5x Warp Talons, MoK
Chaos Bikers x3, Champ w Chainaxe, MoK

Total: 2,000 points; 9CP

The plan is to deploy aggressively, with the Warp Talons and Terminators in DS and the cultists on any backfield objectives. Turn one, rush forward with the Rhinos, Defiler(s) and DP/Sorcerer. If I can get off Warptime, that and careful maneuvering can enable a Defiler a charge as low as a 7, which should cause issues for my opponent and allow my other units to move up while the Defiler in their line gets focused turn one.

Obviously not going to be super competitive, but it seems like a great deal of fun.

I like the second list, as it gets me the second Defiler for further distractions once the first goes down, but I don't get Kharn who is a serious blender and I'll have one less Terminator and Berzerker. I also have to cut the Icons on some Berzerkers which could be a pain, especially given how few CP I have to begin with.

I've also messed around with a list using a World Eaters Battalion, a Red Corsairs Battalion, and a Night Lords Outrider to get more CP but it seriously cuts down on my offensive output.

Second list is a wee bit better.

I would make the NL a Patrol detachment, that way you have one good sized pack of Warp Talons to get off their 3d6 charge.

Overall, any power armor crew that is 5 dudes or less is super fragile. To that, I would remove one Defiler to max the KB units to 9 or 10.

The one Chaos Lord could be promoted to a Smash Captain, cuz, hey! Chaos SM got access to Thunder Hammers.

I don't know if the Master of Ex is better than an exalted champ.

I play Night Lords and World Eaters and I totally dig this list from a pure fun/lore side.

Who cares about competitive, but if you do win...it will be awesome

The MoE is there as a cheap HQ choice that might have some effect, better than a Warpsmith.

The reason for the two squads of 5 KB is as I only have three Rhinos and that way I can pack two squads into one. My only other option for transport would be to take a Landraider, and they are still hot garbage. And footslogging KB are high priority and super fragile, even with the new movement Strategem.

I could replace the bikers with a Spawn, which would free up some points to kit out the Lord with a TH, maybe make the MoE into a second Champ.

I'm not sure about making the NL a patrol; I would have to take another chaff unit of troops for -1 CP and at least 40 points that wouldn't really serve a purpose as I don't need screens and it's a super flimsy objective holder.
The thought is to drop one in near the Sorcerer for the +2" to charge and have the other use the 3d6" charge to hopefully get them both in and deny a ton of overwatch. It also gives me the option of doing it two turns in a row if I think it's necessary. Probably not as good damage output as one single squad, especially considering strategems, but I like the flexibility.

rhinos:
I had only 3 and then ebay'd the rhinos that were offered for a price, just 'buy', Offer 10 or 5 dollars less. I picked up 3 more for an average of $22 per.

Yeah, having a unit of NL cultists;
they'll screen your back field
engineer an objective
and/or die to a TFC

Such is cult life.
