Two questions,

1st. If a unit allows you to take both Support Drone and Tactical Drones do they become one unit separate from the first or two units e.g Pathfinders, Support Drone, Tactical Drones each split into seperat units?

2nd. 12 drones is the max for a Tactical Drones unit acording to the datasheet and you are supose to use that datashet for all Tactical Drones acompaning another unit but some units allow for more then 12 Tactical Drones, do the unit then split and if so how do you split it?

1) The drones all form a single unit comprised of all the drones that accompanied that unit. So a Pathfinder unit that takes the maximum alotment of two Gun Drones, a Recon Drone and two Support Drones become a Unit of Pathfinders and a Unit of all the Drones after deployment.

2) What unit allows you to take more than 12 supporting drones? The closest I can see are the Piranha's that can have up to 10 drones, but each Piranhas drones split into two model units when they detach, they don't form a single large unit of drones.

Crisis Battlesuit for one, 9 suits with 2 drones each equal 18 drones total.

The obvious answer that I totally missed.

They form one big unit, it's not capped at 12. The cap of 12 is only when you take Tactical Drones as its own unit.
