title says it all, I don't have my codex at work.

Example:

I have an raven guard and blood angels soup list. RG has my real warlord, but can I give my BA part another warlord trait with hero of the chapter stratagem?

(providing you have access to Blood Angel stratagems by having a Blood Angel Detachment)

Not unless you have a BA detachment to unlock the BA's version of Hero of the Chapter, due to Special Snowflake FAQ.

A: No, as noted in the second paragraph under Space
Marine Units and Detachments on page 174 of Codex:
Space Marines.

If you have a pure RG detachment, and a pure BA detachment, you can use the BA strat hero of the chapter to get a second warlord trait for a BA character.

Also bare in mind if you do this then you wont get the super doctrine for either chapter.
