I’ve seen a lot of these models on ebay and was wondering, are they about the same as the WFB models or are they different enough so that they couldn’t be used as AoS models?

They may be a tad smaller now as they are older models.
Still fit it nicely though and some of the models look amazing.

Varies a bit.

Most of the Skaven stuff fits into Skaven without any issues at all, some of the human forces can appear a little smaller than some more modern stuff, but if you take a look at things like Mortek Guard, they aren't much bigger honestly. Worked into an army they'd likely look fine and can give you some "exotic" and unique appearances.

Mordheim to WHFB/AoS is the same as Necromunda to 40k, same scale outside of GW scale creep, they add flavor and unique character to your regiment/army. I especially like their youth lots.

You should also look into Dogs of War, they too will add a flavor to your existing army.
