Is there a good website tothat details and reviews what is in each month's WD? I don't minf the cost, but I'm sick of getting 40 pages of AOR crap and 10-15 pages of killteam modeling ideas, where are the artcloes about tournament scenes or list building, or 40k in general?

if you're looking for "here's how to win at 40k by cheesing list building, and here's a discussion on how "Tim the Seriz gamer won the last big tourny, his schlong is sooooo big! Worship him" it's not going to bein white dwarf. White dwarf will have lore info, rules or hobby info.

If it's anything line it used to be WD tends to rotate through the various systems, usually with one having less focus each month, so if you only care about one system there will usually be a few issues a year that don't interest you.

If you're looking for list building advice and tournament updates you're not going to get it in WD. It's always been a glorified advert - it just used to be better at dressing those adverts up as entertaining content.

not true, that used to be the case, but they revamped it awhile back and it's actually pretty good

I’ve just read through January WD, and while I thought the quality dropped markedly a year ago, this is the worst issue in terms of articles I wanted to read ever. Granted i’ve only been buying for a little over 2 years, but the drop off in quality in that time is startling. I genuinely don’t know if I’m going to bother with it anymore.

For the past year, wd has followed the same format; roughly half 40k half AoS; additionally, one KT article, one BSF article, one beast grave article, one underworlds article. Then either a Necromunda or Lord of the rings, but rarely both.

If you only play one of those games, not really worth it. I play KT, BSF, 40k and I'm interested in Necromunda. ALways worth it for me.

I also disagree that it's all ads; it used to be, until they started putting rules back in. In 2019, it gave me my SoS dex, my Inquisition dex, my Kroot Kill Team, and BSF rules for Arcos, Solitaires, Ogryns and an Ork.

So much more than ads.

Personally,I feel like Lord of the Rings is my least favourite thing GW does. I guess there are people who like the game, and for their sake, I'm not going to wish for its demise. But it isn't GW IP; it's licensed content. I'd rather see GW develop its own worlds.

IMO, White Dwarf was best in the 90s. I bought the January edition and it just doesn't seem as cool. Could be nostalgia though.

what is in th ejanuiary edtiion. It would be awesome if they included more than gakky posters as loot. Hell even a simple thing like a coupon or a paint pallet
