So I was able to score a Gorgon at the LVO for my Militia, but the kits doesn’t have much in the way of upgrades that reflect its Militia unit profile. Specifically I’m looking for something to replace the twin-Linked stubbers (which are now twin-Linked autocannons base, and sponson mounted lascannons/autocannons. Does anyone have any ideas of where to source parts for this or any experience converting this kit? Looking for two twin-linked autocannons or lascannons that lie flat (I.E. the barrels are next to each other), and four autocannons or,lascannons that would look ok as sponsor mounted. Thank you! Hm the first thing that comes to mind for the lascannons would be an imperial guard heavy weapons kit, as some careful cutting can get any length from the full cannon for an open mount to just the barrel for sponsons. You'd technically get autocannons too but its not the standard heresy style autocannon, so your mileage may vary.

If you want the "classic" horus heresy autocannon, there's a couple options I can think of. If money is no object the Krieg autocannon teams could make a good base as you'd just need to file one side down on each pair, though it wouldn't be cheap. The other would be to get one of many terminator autocannon bits on ebay/bits stores, and carefully cut the fins and barrel off and you have the hardest part (atleast for me) for converting- the barrel. All you need to do is flip the barrels 90 degrees and build the body for it. Either way you'd have to enlarge the gun shield hole or get rid of it as the autocannons should be larger than the heavy stubbers. There's lots of other plastic and resin autocannons floating around, so it wouldn't hurt to just start browsing all the Imperial guard, Chaos, and Horus heresy models to see if any catch your eye and then see if you can get the bit by itself.

The Goliath Truck has a twin Autocannon, otherwise the Sentinel is a good source of guns.

Thanks for the ideas so far guys, yeah I was hoping if I went for autocannons or lascannons to get things that more resembled the Horus Heresy era. I was thinking about Contemptor Weapons as well, the autocannons look like they could work at least? As for sponson my buddy might be ordering some Caradon tanks and their sponson Weapons might work depending on what he doesn’t want, I wish we could just order bits this is making my head hurt lol. I would just pick up a ton of the stormhammer lascannons!

Vendetta conversion kits from forgeworld for lascannon have each a pair of twin mounted (side by side) lascannons. Pricey at 35 bucks, but is exactly the sort of thing you look for, they hang under the wings in place of rocket pods or rockets.
Slightly more delicate and smaller than the heavy weapons teams are the weapons that come on sentinals -- if you are willing to play a bit with fixing 2 together, ever sentinal kit has both a lascannon and an autocannon in it (and sentinals run well with plasma cannon, so you will find yourself thinking "I often don't use these here."

Razorbacks are a classic twin lascannon turret piece that can also be used to build a rhino (or dual heavy bolter razorback) so that is another veyr common source.
