So for the dirt/grime it's pretty much all Typhus Corrosion. The blue plating was much brighter before I started and it concerned me a little (I can upload a pic later on, but there's plenty on my
IG too if youre curious). Turned out well enough though!
Anyway, I put a healthy coating of Typhus Corrosion (henceforth known as
TC) all over the plate, then used my finger/cotton swab to work it into the armour, making sure that I get in all the cracks because if you don't, you'll have an unnatural gap between the armour trim and the
TC. Make sure when youre doing this that you go in a natural direction (ie up and down) to help with streakiness. Once that is all done, I painted (using
TC) tiny streaks coming off of some parts like the chips and some of the trim.
I finished it off with some weathering powder in the lower bits of the trim and such to simulate the accumulation of dust and the like.
