The Kickstarter for Witchin' Hour skirmish game is online and has been 80% funded in 2 days.

Witch Hunters vs Witches.

It is a rulebook only where you can use all sorts of miniatures and there is no fixed time period or setting.

Looks fun, I have some great minis painted I could use for this. Cheers and good luck.

The Witch Hunter warbands must have a hero (Witch Hunter). Other options are: a priest, an apprentice, an interrogator, mercenaries and townsfolk. Mercenaries can bring dogs and some models can be mounted.

The Witch Covens are always led by a hero (Supreme Witch). Then there are Coven Witches, Familiars and Cultists. Witches can have cauldrons and black cats. Cultists can bring along wolves. And Witches can have a spell to summon small or large monsters.

All of these troop types can be interpreted as you see fit. A Witch Hunter can be a Sister Supreme of a holy order where the nuns can be the mercenaries and such for example. The summoned monsters can also be anything you fancy. If you make a Vampire for Supreme Witch a summoned small monster might be a skeleton for example.

This looks great. I find I prefer rules with narrower focus, as they tend to be more thematic vs rules that try to be a unifying system across all sorts of genres, periods, etc.

I backed.

We have reached our goal!

With 25 days to go it is time to see if we can get some stretch goals unlocked.

The Witchin' Hour Kickstarter has reached the second stretch goal!

This means that all backers from Apprentice level and up now have the option to get their hands on the special gaming tokens. These will cost you € 5,- (which is a special Kickstarter price, retail price will be higher) and the set will provide you with enough tokens for two players to play a game.

We have also reached 100 backers! I am very proud that we have reached this number, and with 16 more days to go who knows what will happen?

If you look forward to the upcoming stretch goals please feel free to persuade others to join in. Share the Kickstarter on any platform or social media you like, bribe people, cast spells of enchantment or simply threaten to put them through a thorough interrogation on suspicion of using the black arts if they do not pledge.

Good news for Americans who have an interest in the game Witchin’ Hour (now on Kickstarter).

Noble Knight Games (www.nobleknight.com) from Fitchburg will stock the rulebook.

If you want to get your hands on the book visit the following link and place your pre-order before the Kickstarter ends (March, 1st). This way they will know how many books to pledge for and you don’t miss out.

Noble Knight Games can ship all over the US.

Could you explain how this works? I drop my pledge on KS and then preorder from NK Games?
Do I still get all stretch goals etc.?
Seems like great news.
