My idea for a good add to the list for custom regiments:
Abhuman Intergration: MILITARUM AUXILLIA units gain the <REGIMENT> Keyword.
Would allow for good fluffy lists based around abhumans without making anything too OP. Worst case would be bullgryns fighting twice with "Fix bayonets" but that would require sticking in combat with them for 2+ turns

Seems like it's probably mostly OK. I'd be a bit worried about Move Move Move! on bullgryn, but no other especially abusable combos come to mind. Command squad medics healing bullgryn maybe?

Or maybe just a stratagem. Pay a CP to give an Auxilla unit the regiment keyword. Sort of like the Tyranid Physiological adaptation.

Might have to cap this though at 1 per game.

I immediately see Catachan Bullgryn being the auto take option. Getting them from S7 to the much desired S8 on them. Plus now they can get the orders like you said, so you can use fix bayonets.

I dont think it would break the game, i think it would be a cool flavor.

Would be fine with an 'auxila' regiment that could take 1 trait from the list.
