After seeing a revived post concerning ‘thirdeyenuke studios’, I cannot help thinking if one of my older post was not deleted, it could have save some members here real world headaches. My Post was such a long time ago, it could have been aggressive, but it was well within lines, and got deleted by cough cough ‘swap shop mod’ cough cough.

To this date, I have not seen thirdeyenuke studios/brush_slip, same person with 2 accounts, being labeled with caution in the swap shop pinned post; I can’t help but thinking the mod is bias about the issue.

It is a long standing principle of moderation that actions against members are kept to PMs between the mod and member involved. This is to preserve privacy of individual members.

The same principle applies to grievances against moderators.

Obviously you will want to PM a different moderator to the one against whom you have a grievance.

I was going to start a new thread but then I saw this one. Who’s in overall charge of the site again?

You can also always email webmaster AT dakkadakka DOT com, which goes directly to the admin, with any grievances.

Very angry that I’ve got to go over your heads to get simple moderation matters dealt with but at this point I shouldn’t be surprised.

If it's a simple matter, you'd probably do better to PM myself or another moderator. Yakface is pretty busy and while he will always look at each request, it's not usually going to be a really fast turn around, as that's not what the admin email is for.

Obviously, if your issue is with a moderator themselves, then you might still want to go that route - it's completely up to you. But if it's simple, wouldn't hurt to try a PM first. I guess I'm volunteering, unless your issue is with me, in which case nevermind

No I’m not going to bother with that, because I’m done dealing with all of you. I’ve had to sit back and watch this poster (I won’t name names...yet) get away with openly breaking the rules time and time again, reporting it every time for years at this point, only to have you lot do absolutely feth all about it.

And it’s not like you lot are afraid to publicly chastise people and remove their posts when it suits you to do so. But for some reason you’ve got a wilful blind spot when it comes to this one. And I have a theory why, and it’s to do with the fact that one of you mods (won’t name names again, yet) can happily sit there and openly insult a big chunk of us without repercussion, and said mod is on the same ‘wavelength’ as this poster.

I see this poster openly questioning the mental state of others in the most insulting manner possible, I report it, feth all done about it.

I get called a brain dead cultist by a fething mod, reported It, feth all done about it.

I have my family insulted right out in the open, reported it, feth all done about it.

But others make a harmless little quip and you can’t get in to shut it down fast enough.

So no, I won’t be PMing anybody but yakface about this, because I’m fething done with the whole lot of you, and I’m going over your heads. Or you can ban me. I don’t give a flying feth anymore.

This is why I quit being a DCM. Can’t believe I actually shelled out money for this gak.
