Hey all. I’m a fresh faced noob to the world of Warhammer. I have recently bought the Daemons of Khorne collectors pack. I don’t know where to go from here to build my army. The pack includes 10 bloodletters, (1 bloodreaper, 1 hornblower, 1 Icon bearer.) 3 blood crushers(1 blood hunter, 1 hornblower, 1 icon bearer) and 1 blood throne of khorne( opted for that instead of the skull cannon). I have just bought a Daemon Prince but have not assembled it yet. I was told to choose chaos as they can be played as AOS as well as 40k. My end goal is to create an army with Khorne, Slaanesh and Tzeentch but I am unsure as to what my next steps are in order to create an awesome army. Any advice would be awesome please. Thank you in advance!

The army you have chosen for now is specifically Chaos Demons. Chaos is a bigger faction, which the demons are part of.
You can ally yourself with other chaos factions to build a larger army, but these other chaos factions are different in 40k and AoS. Only the demons are the same in both systems. So if you truly want to play both systems, this will put a limit on your choices.

As for being able to play both 40k and AoS: How useful is this to you? Are you really planning to play both systems?
If you are going to play with the same group of people regulary, chances are they will prefer one system over the other, because their chosen armies are not able to play both.
Even if you do plan to build an army for both systems, a Demon army that is good in AoS, is probably not going to work quite the same in 40k. You may want to take the build of your army in different directions, depending on what system you play in.

I think you should first decide if you really want to commit to a dual-system demon-army and then go from there, because this has quite a few implications.

Regarding AoS and 40k, daemons generally speaking fare much better in AoS than they do in 40k.

Both game systems have similarities but play very differently. Since you're new to the hobby I'd recommend playing a game or two of each with what you have at the moment and get a feel for which system you like better first and commit to that. You can always jump to other later down the track

"Courage and Honour. I hear you murmur these words in the mist, in their wake I hear your hearts beat harder with false conviction seeking to convince yourselves that a brave death has meaning.
There is no courage to be found here my nephews, no honour to be had. Your souls will join the trillion others in the mist shrieking uselessly to eternity, weeping for the empire you could not save.

To the unfaithful, I bring holy plagues ripe with enlightenment. To the devout, I bring the blessing of immortality through the kiss of sacred rot.
And to you, new-born sons of Gulliman, to you flesh crafted puppets of a failing Imperium I bring the holiest gift of all.... Silence."
