I was in Forbidden Planet a few days ago and saw some new W40K miniature helmet replicas, but I've not been able to really find anything about them. They're pretty small and seemed like they might be die-cast, with 4 different variations - Primaris Helmets in blue or silver, Classic Marine helmets in Red or Gold. They back of the packaging mentioned a company called "semic distribution", I know the same company did some W40K themed mugs a while back and I can find a few pages about those, but I've not found these mini helmets anywhere. nothing about them even on their site. Anyone know anything about them/the site page or even what the usual sort of price is?

I've not heard of them, and can't find them on the FP site either. I thought Half Moon Bay had the GW mug / collectable licence?

There's no mention of "semic distribution" on GW's Licenced Product page, so it's possible they're a knock-off.

This was at the other version of Forbidden Planet, not the version that has a site with stock. It seems a company other than Half Moon Bay also has a license for the same sort of stuff, not many places seem to have them but WaylandGames has mugs manufactured by "Semic" and says they're official.

I don't think they're knock-offs but it is a bit odd that there's no mention anywhere i can find, and very little mention of the mugs even.

Any pics?

See that stuff above? Completely true. All of it, every single word. Stands to reason.
