When a ogryn bodyguard armed with a brute shield takes a wound using the bodyguard rule do they get to use their 4+ invaluable save to save from the auto mortal wound? Or is the wound automatic?

Mortal wounds ignore all saves-armor and invulnerable.

Some armies try to get around this by taking mortal wounds on models with a Feel No Pain type save (+++).

Example include Shield Drones and Intercessors who are affected by an Apothecary FNP aura.
