What's the max distance for coherency in a vehicle unit? I seem to recall it used to be 4" rather than 2" but I may be misremembering.

It's the same as any other unit.

Note that many vehicle units get split into separate units at the start of the game (for instance Leman Russ Squadron). But if this is not the case, normal coherency applies.

2 inches, same as anything else. There aren't many vehicles that work this way but there are a few (such as Sentinels).

Umm so this still applies to vehicles in 9th edition? I was just wondering how to play with a land speeder unit with more than one model in 9th. They all need to stay within 2" of each other? And if I have a squadron of 3 land speeders, positioned like this:

O O O (all models within ~1.8 inch of each other, so opposite edge models are 3.6 inches from each other)

...if my opponent destroys the one in the middle, does it also destroy another one since the unit is no longer in coherency? If so, brutal...

And what about tarantulas? Do I need to deploy them all in coherency? And if I lose the middle tarantula, do I lose another one?
