So happy I quit this hobby. GW plays The same trick on the community over and over. They release some new models with totally overpowered rules. Sell a boat load of totally overpriced plastic. Then change the rules and make your entire army obsolete just in time for the next batch of overpriced plastic. Seriously. Get a life. Find a hobby where you aren’t enriching some corporation that’s screwing you for huge sums of money for little pieces of plastic. Do anything else. Play golf. Visit an old person in a nursing home. Take a cooking lesson. Practice martial arts. Do something that doesn’t involve you getting abused by this scumbag company

My only problem with the changes is that again, instead of fixing the real problem, which was the IH rule set, they decided to nerf an over all rule. And suddenly armies that weren't that good, like DA or CF got hit real hard by the changes.

If GW ment for players to switch from doctrine to doctrin , then they shouldn't have design the 2.0 rules around one specific one. Either each space marine should have had no super doctrin, but 3 chapter specific ones doctrins. Or the super doctrins should do something in every round. Right now if someone manages to hide out of LoS turn one, armies with devastator doctrin have dead rules, because either they have to be build balanced. But then they are just worse armies with tactical doctrin focus. Or they try to alfa strike turn one, and if that doesn't work they are at a serious disadvantage.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

Under the couch

I'm not sure how the premise of this thread deals with all the times GW released models with grossly underpowered rules.

Something something about attributing to malice?

Moving on.
