Hi all! so my 6 intercessors destroyed a drukhari venom in CC and the model (drazhar)that was inside it had to disembark but the vehicle was completely surrounded . we were inside a building at the ground floor.
my question is..could drazhar disembark safety at the upper floor? since it is 3 inches from the ground lvl?

I would allow it in this case since there was a floor above it.

My IG WIP log

40k is as exciting as riding a pony, which doesn't sound very exciting.......

But the pony is 300 feet tall and covered in CHAINSAWS!

thats what i did...but now i had this thought ...that you must climb to the floor above using a wall right? so he would have to pass trough my intercessors to reach the wall behind them...but then again i am not sure...can he disembark immediately on the upper floor without having to reach a wall?

Disembarking is not moving, you set up the model(s). Anywhere within 3" from the transport (measured from anywhere from the transport) is fine. You can disembark from a completely surrounded vehicle if you can place your models within 3" from the transport and more than 1" away from enemy models.

Yu don't have to touch wall to climb up. You just go up.

And in any case disembarking isn't moving. Here's funny scenario. You have the marine flyer transport. It has dreadnought in it. Enemy surrounds transport b2b and destroys it. There's no way to move past enemy without passing through enemy. Doesn't matter. Dreadnought materialises behind the transport.

Don't go b2b with vehicle if you try to kill troops inside.

If you can position guys from inside to upper/lower floor so the base is within 3" of transport hull you are good to go.

He can, because he has the INFANTRY keyword.

The galaxy is filled with the ruins of once-proud cities.
Only INFANTRY, BEASTS, SWARMS and units that can FLY can be set up or end their move on the upper floors of ruins (any unit can do so on the ground floor). INFANTRY models are assumed to be able to scale walls and traverse through windows, doors and portals readily. These models can therefore move through the floors and walls of a ruin without further impediment.
Disembarking uses the term "set up".
