My first completed Gaslands Team, Suckin' Diesel

I used a bunch of new (to me) techniques. They're pretty much completely airbrushed, with weathering powder in the form or REALLY CHEAP eyeshadow (which works fine if you varnish it) and sponge weathering for the chips. The airbrush wasn't fine enough for the text by itself, so the black infill and surround was put on using fine black brush-pen.

Pretty pleased with how they came out. I've owed these cars for 30 odd years, but now they're fully armed and dangerous. I like the older Corgi cars, as they really are the 1980's vehicles that I think suit Gaslands' aesthetic.

Love 'em, there's nothing quite like grabbing a sponge for a bit of weathering.
Although, my childish mind automatically linked them to the Fast and Furious franchise and the comedic application of the name 'Vin'

...... I never even thought of Vin.

Awesome, my van driver now has a name. Vin Van.

(The actual derivation of the team name is in the link in the OP)
