This looks way better than dual Land Raiders. I can stuff 2 units of zerkers and some characters in the plane. Use the Apostle to give an additional -1 to hit for a total of -2 to hit to ensure survivability. Jump guys go in deep strike to come down T2 and wrap everything they can. Terminators are on standby for deep strike or apoplectic frenzy, depending on board setup. Terminator lord goes with them for +1 to charge rolls. Rapiers are chaff clearing with the small fire from the Storm Eagle. Also SE is in anti tank duty as well.

You might consider the Warp Talons as one unit, that way, it'd be only one reroll die for a failed charge, which is key to their place in a list ... making the charge when they show up. Plus the mechanic in their charging as many enemy units as possible makes best use of their presence, imho.

I like the Chaos Storm Eagle Assault Gunship.

I have before. Bit with Tip of the Claw giving them +2" to charge I almost never have to reroll anything. With Violent Urgency stacked, I don't see much use for one big unit.

I was going to an RTT in a couple weeks trying this list out. But it got cancelled. So it'll be a while before I can test it.

Yeah. There's going to be a lot of theory hammer going on in the world for some time.

Whats your game plan against, say an eldar list with enough guardians that his deployment zone is not deepstrikealbe, you'll know that he'll have a large unit with forewarning, and his waveserpents are screening his infantry.

I actually like your list, at first I was thinking I'll just deploy like so, then I realized its a tough as nails list. Far better than the world eaters list I tried to field recently. I tried using a termite assault drill instead of a flyer to deliver troops... I couldn't find a good spot to unleash it, and my warp talons got shot to shreads thanks to forewarning. (2 smaller units would have been safer)

Anyways, lets hear it!
