Hello guys,
just a month ago I reread a zombie novel set in the Star Wars setting (Death Troopers, Schreiber, 2009).After reading it I wondered, if the 40K setting has a novel dedicated exclusively to Nurgle's plague zombies. So is their a Black Library equivalent to Death Troopers?

Cadian Blood is pretty close, for a while anyway.

I just checked your proposal. The novel has been written by ADB. He did a tremendous job with his Night Lord trilogy. I will order it at the next opportunity. Thanks for the info.

There was a "short story" (about 100 pages) in one of the Guard anthologies where the guard are deployed to deal with a rebellion or some such.
Long story short its Dark Eldar schenanagans and the Inquisisition show up. Really interesting because you get to see the DE motivation (which is very alien), not so much for the zombie side of things

Nah, I am a zombie fan. Next Friday Doom Eternal will be available. Can't wait to...
SHOOT 'EM IN THE HEAD!
... with my shotgun.
The only thing that Dark Eldar have going for them are their Hellraiser SM dungeons and their gladiator pits.

Cadian Blood's been mentioned. Requiem Infernal also involves one in the second half, though it's not the only threat.

Not exclusively but Plague War (pt 2 of Dark Imperium) focuses on Mortarions invasion of the Ultramar system, and features some good Pox Walker incidents.

"Sepulturum", a new Warhammer Horror book is something that should also be mentioned. Sounds like it's about an Inquisitor from the Ordo Sepulturum which was literally created to investigate the Plague of Unbelief(read: Typhus' zombie plague!).
There's also a short story where they kinda/sorta feature, called "The Battle for Markgraaf Hive" by Justin D. Hill. His novel "Cadia Stands" features a snippet of plague zombies/poxwalkers as well.

Lords of Silence features a character that's transformed into a poxwalker. Interestingly he keeps his consciousness throughout the book, so depending on how you define Zombie he's not the classic undead, brainless guy.
